A modern diagnostic center is being built on the Mainz Lerchenberg

Press Release

Currently, a new diagnostic center is being built by GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH on an 8,000 square meter construction site on the Mainz Lerchenberg. Groundbreaking took place at the end of last year, and the new building is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in 2024. New laboratory, office, and practice rooms will be built on 7,000 square meters of usable space. The new building will meet all criteria for a sustainable, energy- and resource-efficient building as a KfW Efficiency House 55.

For over 20 years, GANZIMMUN Diagnostics has been a fixture in the medical diagnostics industry in Mainz. Started with only three employees, the now internationally active company employs over 380 employees. "The premises in Mainz-Bretzenheim have become far too small, and we had to act urgently," explains Dr. Patrik Zickgraf, Managing Director of GANZIMMUN Diagnostics.

The location on the Lerchenberg across from the ZDF Enterprises building now provides sufficient space for the growing workforce of the two laboratory partners, GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH and MVZ GANZIMMUN GmbH. Sufficient parking, direct access to the "Mainzelbahn" as well as the bicycle network and the highway ensure optimal accessibility for employees and visitors.
