IgG Tests for Food Intolerance
Special diagnostics to detect IgG-associated intolerance
The symptoms of IgG-associated food intolerance often occur multiple hours, or even a few days, after consumption, which often makes it difficult to relate them to the corresponding food with certainty. Typical symptoms include flatulence, diarrhoea, constipation, chronic fatigue, hyperactivity, headaches or depression. An IgG blood test may give more information on immunoreactivity to certain foods. The AllergoScreen findings will be sent together with the treatment and dietary recommendations, as well as a cookbook. IgG-associated food intolerance is frequently associated with disorders of the gastrointestinal mucosal barrier function or changes in gastrointestinal microflora (microbiome).
