Special examinations to detect fungal infections
The field of medical mycology deals with examinations to detect infections caused by fungi. An aromatic sensitivity chart for targeted treatment with essential oils may also be created as an alternative to, or in addition to an antimycotic sensitivity chart for specific infections (cutaneous infections, urinary tract infections, vaginal infections, etc.). The following fungi, among others, may be investigated:
